In light of information that has recently circulated, the Panama Maritime Authority (PMA) informs the public that the oil tanker Bella-1 ceased to be part of the Panama Ship Registry on October 7, 2024. Likewise, the vessel M Sophia was removed from the Registry on January 23, 2025, in accordance with established procedures and applicable regulations.

The PMA reiterates its commitment to transparency, international cooperation, and the strict enforcement of the regulations governing the safety, legality, and best practices of international maritime transport.
